Good stories need to be shared, especially as a source of inspiration for aspiring professionals and new entrepreneurs. To this end, Vilmar Ferreira, president of Grupo Aço Cearense, and Aline Ferreira, vice president of sales and finance, were at Unifametro last Wednesday (4) to share with students and faculty the history of the group, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. The entrepreneurs participated in the opening of the semester of the university's Business Administration program with the lecture "An Entrepreneurial Trajectory," showcasing the Grupo Aço Cearense case study.
Vilmar and Aline Ferreira shared with the institution's students a glimpse into their journey of courage, entrepreneurship, and success, from when their family left the countryside for Fortaleza to becoming managers of a group that now has four companies and an institute with operations in Ceará, Pará, and Tocantins: Aço Cearense Comercial, Aço Cearense Industrial, SINOBRAS, SINOBRAS Florestal, and Instituto Aço Cearense.
