SINOBRAS is awarded the “Pará Culture Seal – Friend of Culture Company”

SINOBRAS é agraciada com “Selo Cultura Pará – Empresa Amiga da Cultura”

SINOBRAS received, last Wednesday (3), from the Government of the State of Pará, the “Cultura Pará Seal – Company Friend of Culture”, a recognition to companies that contribute to the strengthening of the economy, culture and art, through the Semear Law. The seal was presented by the governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, through an online ceremony, respecting the guidelines of the State Government on the health protocol to combat Covid-19.

SINOBRAS was one of 11 companies sponsoring projects in 2020. This year, the Semear 2021 Law was launched, along with two other important cultural and social inclusion projects: the Arte Livre (Free Art) Public Notice and the Sons de Liberdade Project. These initiatives involve the State Secretariats of Culture (Secult), Penitentiary Administration (Seap), Finance (Sefa), and Economic Development, Mining, and Energy (Sedeme), the Pará Cultural Foundation (FCP), the Carlos Gomes Foundation (FCG), and private companies dedicated to the socioeconomic and cultural development of the region, such as SINOBRAS.

For Ian Corrêa, vice president of operations at Grupo Aço Cearense, this award is an important recognition of all SINOBRAS's work in building a more prosperous future. "Being recognized as a culture-friendly company gives us encouragement at this delicate time when we are experiencing so many difficulties. We know that culture was one of the areas most affected by the pandemic and how it can be a transformative agent for many lives. For SINOBRAS, this recognition demonstrates that our efforts are being directed in the right direction, as a promoter of art and culture in our state," he states.
