Clarification Note from Ceará Steel Group

As a result of the article entitled “Steel mill chooses Tocantins to expand
your investments”, published on January 20, 2021, on the website of the Secretariat of
Industry, Commerce and Services of the State of Tocantins, and replicated in several
portals, we clarify that:

• At various points, the article attributes the company “MRX – Siderúrgica Norte
  Brazil”, erroneously, data and information from Siderúrgica Norte
  Brazil SA – SINOBRAS.
• All published data on billing, products, logistics and
  services concern only SINOBRAS, which does not have any
  connection with MRX or any company in its Group.
• The installation of an industrial unit in the city of Barrolândia, mentioned in
  matter, is not the responsibility of Siderúrgica Norte Brasil SA- SINOBRAS.

The MRX company website also contains, unduly, information belonging to
to SINOBRAS and not to the MRX Group, which has never been part of or has any link with the
Cearense Steel Group, of which SINOBRAS is a part.

SINOBRAS clarifies that it is evaluating and investigating the matter with caution, and will adopt appropriate measures.
