The Aço Cearense Group held a charity livestream on Saturday (9) to honor and help struggling mothers. In total, more than 1,600 people watched the broadcast on Instagram, and more than 4,200 viewed it in the following 24 hours via stories. Donations, via bank transfer and the Picpay app, totaled 5.7 tons of food. The Aço Cearense Institute will double this amount, totaling 11.4 tons of food for the institutions supported by the Aço Cearense Institute. One thousand masks were also donated and will be distributed to needy families served by the Institute.
Of particular note was the way in which Jacqueane Martins, SINOBRAS's Reducer Supply Manager, managed the campaign and engaged a large portion of the donations. She called several contacts, employees, and suppliers of the company, asking for help and explaining how to donate. They all said yes, and she managed to collect almost 4 tons of food. "I was already going to donate, but I was motivated to do more to benefit a large number of people. I did it from the heart, and I know that helping others is a very important mission.", said Jacqueane.
During the livestream, Aline Ferreira, the Group's Vice President of Sales and Finance, invited Marcela Fabrício, Consultant and Image Coach, to discuss "Being a Woman and the Transformative Potential of Motherhood." Next, Rosemeire Matos, President of the Aço Cearense Institute and Administrative Director of the Aço Cearense Group, spoke about the importance of helping those in need. Finally, singer Waldonys paid special tribute to mothers, performing songs with vocals and accordion.
