The Instituto Aço Cearense has been carrying out initiatives in various social areas for 11 years. In the last two years, these initiatives have been intensified due to the pandemic, with the provision of oxygen cylinders, donations of tons of food, masks, school kits, COVID-19 tests, medicines, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products.
To further support these people who are being directly impacted at this time, the Institute is launching the "From Heart to Heart" campaign, which aims to raise funds to feed families in socially vulnerable situations. The funds raised will be used to provide basic food baskets for families served by the Instituto Aço Cearense. Donations can be made via bank transfer, bank slips, or Pix.
Rosemeire Matos, president of the Instituto Aço Cearense, emphasizes that unity is now the most effective way to benefit the greatest number of people. "The Heart to Heart Campaign aims to join forces for a greater good. The idea is that any person or institution can donate. The more people join, the more people will receive this support," she explains. With the funds raised, the organization aims to help families in underprivileged communities in the three states where it operates: Ceará, Pará, and Tocantins.
