Supply and Logistics Director Edgard Corrêa represented Grupo Aço Cearense at EXPOLOG – the International Logistics Fair – and the 14th International Logistics Seminar on the 28th in Fortaleza, at the Ceará Events Center. The event, one of the most renowned logistics events in Brazil, aims to contribute to the dissemination of the potential and needs of logistics today with the theme "Innovation, Integration, and Sustainability." It brought together the sector's most important players, building a permanent commercial exchange.
Edgard participated as a debater in the Talk Show Intersectorality and Multimodality, alongside André Magalhães (APM Terminals), Esmeraldo Netto (Logimaster Logística Multimodal), Karley Sobreira (Cimentos Apodi) and Edilson Martinez (Costa Brasil Multimodal), who debated the lectures “The Future of Cabotage after the New Regulation”, by Gustavo Costa (USP) and “General Cargo” by Bruno Toscano (CTI Cargo – Fracht Group), with Mário Lima (ZPE Ceará) as mediator.
For Edgard Corrêa, moments like these are crucial not only for networking but also for discussing the changes and needs of the logistics sector, taking into account new regulations and the national economy within the global context. "The XIV International Logistics Seminar and the International Logistics Fair are renowned and very important events, especially for our region, which lacks such events. Participating as a panelist is not only an honor, but also gives me the opportunity to discuss specific situations that could benefit Grupo Aço Cearense and to stay in touch with the industry's innovations and advances," he commented.
