The 18th Expolog – International Logistics Fair – took place on November 22nd and 23rd, showcasing major logistics players, representative entities, and new technologies, as well as serving as a showcase for Brazilian logistics. The Aço Cearense Group participated in the hybrid event, along with the Association of Companies of the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex (Aecipp). The event showcased the unique features of Aço Cearense Logística, the Group's new company focused exclusively on logistics services, unifying the entire service chain and operating across all of the Group's companies.

To further optimize the customer experience and believing in the potential to surprise the market with its way of being and doing business, Aço Cearense Logística was launched to the market in July 2023 with the expertise of fractional and pulverized delivery throughout Brazil.

 

The new company's culture is based on customer centricity, and with this in mind, it has increasingly refined operations through technology and process optimization to deliver the best customer experience and management. In this sense, Aço Cearense Logística operates in alignment with the company's culture, enhancing the Group's delivery performance, which currently moves more than 3,400 vehicles monthly.

We are investing in an increasingly solid structure and highly qualified professionals, aiming to enhance our operations to grow and deliver value to customers and society," says Edgard Corrêa, director of supplies and logistics for the Aço Cearense Group, which also comprises Aço Cearense Comercial (CE), Aço Cearense Industrial (CE), SINOBRAS (PA), SINOBRAS Florestal (TO), and the Aço Cearense Institute (CE). The company maintains a base of over 15,000 suppliers and 16,000 customers. Furthermore, it purchases 60% of its purchases in Brazil, in the North and Northeast regions, equivalent to R$$5 billion, boosting the economy in the regions where it operates.
