Grupo Aço Cearense is once again among the largest companies in the country, according to a special edition of Valor 1000 magazine. Climbing 32 positions compared to the previous year, the Group ranked 260th and also reached 16th place among the 50 largest companies in the Northeast.
The Valor 1000 yearbook is a respected and established publication that ranks Brazil's largest companies. In addition to using net revenue as a benchmark for ranking the thousand largest companies, the publication adopts the most current accounting performance metrics, such as value creation, measured by EBITDA margin, equity, and debt management.
The criteria used by Valor 1000 are endorsed by the School of Business Administration of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo and Serasa Experian, partners of the publication.
