A story of hard work, effort, and recognition. This is the trajectory of Grupo Aço Cearense, one of the largest business groups in Ceará, which celebrates its 39th anniversary on October 15th.
Throughout its history, Grupo Aço Cearense has expanded and diversified its operations, evolving from a small distributor to an importer, a large distributor, a processor, and a steel producer, becoming a recognized leader in the North and Northeast markets. Nearly four decades of experience led the Group to achieve annual revenue of R$2.2 billion in 2017, even amid the country's economic crisis. Its diverse product mix is distributed to all Brazilian states through a unique logistics strategy.
Today, the Aço Cearense Group has five companies in three Brazilian states: Aço Cearense Industrial, Aço Cearense Comercial and the Instituto Aço Cearense in Ceará; SINOBRAS in Pará and SINOBRAS Florestal in Tocantins, which together generate almost 4,000 direct jobs and 60,000 indirect jobs.
