Paracyclist Gilberto Silva, sponsored by the Instituto Aço Cearense, placed third in the Brazilian Paracycling Championship, placing among the best in the country in the C5 category. The event took place last weekend, November 24th and 25th, in São Carlos, São Paulo.
Gilberto trained hard throughout the year and competed in important events, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Pan-American Games. According to the athlete, this achievement was crucial for his athletic career. "It was a moment of overcoming obstacles; being among the top three in Brazil is an honor," he says.
