Aço Cearense Industrial Matriz welcomed students from the Metallurgy Technical Course at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará de Caucaia (IFCE) last Friday (25) of May. The objective was to learn about the production process and the standardization norm of Aço Cearense products.
The delegation, comprised of 16 fifth-semester students from IFCE Caucaia and Professor Heloisa Cordeiro, was led by Production Management and Process Analysts Raul Corrêa and Fellipe Macedo, who explained the company's entire production process, and Quality Analyst Águeda Morais, who spoke about the Quality Management System. The students were also welcomed by the Occupational Safety and Communications departments, and by Production Manager Eduardo Coelho.
Guilherme Henrique, an IFCE student, emphasized how important the visit was for his practical understanding of metallurgy. "This is my first time visiting a company the size of Aço Cearense. I really identified with the workplace and hope to return as a collaborator in the future," he said optimistically.
