Brazilian Army incinerates weapons at SINOBRAS

More than 5,000 weapons, accessories, and ammunition seized by law enforcement agencies in Pará, Maranhão, and Tocantins were incinerated in the electric furnace at the SINOBRAS Steelworks on December 11. The operation was carried out by the Brazilian Army's Controlled Products Inspection Directorate (DFPC), as part of Operation Volcano 2019, which takes place annually in this region.
