EducaAço trains 94 new students

EducaAço forma mais 94 novos alunos

Aço Cearense graduated 94 new high school students through the EducaAço Project, held in partnership with SESI. The event was attended by the project's board of directors, managers, and faculty. The ceremony was held at the Logistics Warehouse of Aço Cearense Industrial Matriz.

Pedro Jorge de Almeida, Shipping Assistant at Aço Cearense Industrial Branch and class speaker, said: "We all have dreams, and when we achieve them, we tend to move on to other dreams. EducaAço gave us the opportunity to realize one of our dreams—graduating from high school—and this will open doors to new horizons," said the graduate.

“Aço Cearense gave me the opportunity to take the EducaAço course to complete high school.”

One of the highlights of the ceremony was employee Felipe Silva Teixeira, who completed high school at EducaAço. Today, he is a Production Supervisor at Aço Cearense Industrial Branch. He joined the company as a Production Assistant and worked his way up the career ladder to a management position. "I'm about to complete 11 years with the company, and Aço Cearense gave me the opportunity to complete high school through EducaAço. I was part of the first class of the program, and thanks to it, I'll be finishing my degree in Business Administration mid-year. Education can boost anyone's career; all you need is the desire and the opportunity," he emphasized.

The Aço Cearense Group values maintaining a talented, committed, and fulfilled team. To this end, it invests in employee training through initiatives such as EducaAço. Since 2013, when Aço Cearense implemented the project, 229 students have benefited from the program. Currently, 158 students are enrolled, divided into three elementary school classes and five high school classes.
