Father's Day at Aço Cearense

Dia dos Pais na Aço Cearense

To honor the important father figure, the Ceará Steel performed a haircut, shave, massage therapy and a special edition of the newspaper AContece to celebrate the date.
The Communications department launched a campaign called "My Child Is My Face" inviting parent employees to submit photos of their children. Many parents participated, and the idea eventually became a special edition of the internal printed newspaper AContece. The newsletter is already being distributed throughout the company.

Another tribute to fathers was organized by the Quality of Life and Benefits department, where employee fathers were able to get a makeover and participate in massage therapy sessions. The initiatives were a success and the honored fathers were well-received, as evidenced by the following testimonials:

"Having been with the company for 12 years, this initiative is an incentive for us to be part of the Aço Cearense Group. We can see that employee initiatives are evolving, with events like this one and ParabénsAço, for example, which the Quality of Life department is providing for us. This makes us want to work even more. I already really enjoyed working here, and now with these activities, I feel like we're producing more. I also had massage therapy and loved it; it was very relaxing," said Valder Matos, from Production Area 2 at Aço Cearense Industrial Matriz.

“I participated in the first action by sending photos to the It happens"I thought this interaction with other units was fantastic, allowing me to get to know the many fathers who work for the company. Afterwards, they offered services to improve employee well-being, delivered in a welcoming manner," said Alessandro Pessoa Gonçalves, from the Warehouse at Aço Cearense Comercial Branch.
For Raimundo Maia, from the Sales department at Aço Cearense Comercial Matriz, the event was a fun time for participants. "It's always great to participate in the company's activities! I appreciate the wonderful work done by the departments responsible for organizing this excellent event for parents. It's always a win-win for the employees."
