Solidarity that goes beyond walls is one of the principles of SINOBRAS, a company of the Aço Cearense Group. In this sense, one of the actions developed during the Internal Week for the Prevention of Workplace Accidents (Sipat) was the collection of two tons of non-perishable food items, which will be delivered to three philanthropic institutions supported by the Aço Cearense Institute.
Part of the donations will be delivered on December 19th to Lar São Vicente de Paulo, which is responsible for all of the Group's social, educational, sports, and entrepreneurial initiatives. The institution cares for 28 elderly people in socially vulnerable situations. On December 23rd, two other organizations will receive donations: the Hozana Lopes de Abreu Cultural Institute, a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults, and the Child and Adolescent Assistance Foundation.
According to Ronaldo Castelo Branco, Environmental Technician at SINOBRAS and one of the SIPAT participants, this initiative goes beyond teamwork. "We focused heavily on the gymkhana competition because it's something we can do to help others. We ran a massive campaign on social media and with our colleagues and family members. There's a personal fulfillment in this donation, which is showing solidarity with others," says Ronaldo.
