Athlete Jonathan Benvindo, sponsored by Instituto Aço Cearense, traveled to Ecuador on the 27th, where he competed in the Pan American Under-21 Karate Championship. Jonathan's fight took place on August 31st.
Jonathan Benvindo is only 17 years old and has already collected over 200 medals in competitions around the world. Winning the Pan American Games is a dream he intends to make a reality. "It's every athlete's dream to win international competitions. I want to bring this medal to Brazil and Ceará," said the athlete, who is also fighting for a spot at the World Championships in November 2019 in Chile.
