The second stage of the Brazilian Paracycling Cup took place on April 27th and 28th in Brasília, Federal District. Gilberto Silva, from Ceará, an athlete sponsored by the Instituto Aço Cearense and a collaborator in the ACC Services area, participated in the competition and achieved 2nd place in the endurance event.
The Copa Brasil is one of the main events on the national calendar and counts towards national and international rankings. Gilberto competes in the C5 category, with master sponsorship from the Instituto Aço Cearense, which has supported him for nine years. "Reaching the second stage of the Copa and achieving a good result and third place in the overall ranking makes me very happy; it's the culmination of many years of effort, becoming a dream come true," says the paracyclist.
