Food collected at SIPAT 2016 is delivered to charitable institutions

Internal Week for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents

On December 28th, approximately 3 tons of food were collected during SIPAT – Internal Week for the Prevention of Accidents at Work, held in December at Aço Cearense, and were donated to five institutions in Maracanaú, Caucaia and Fortaleza.

To encourage solidarity and love for others, the scavenger hunt held during SIPAT 2016 included a competition to collect non-perishable food items for donation. The team that collected the most food was MEP – Head Office and Branch, earning 30 points in the overall scavenger hunt.

Benefited institutions

 The institutions that benefited were: Helping Hand Recovery Center – CREMA (Maracanaú), Ecological Research and Experience Center – CEPEVIVE (Caucaia), Amadeu Barros Leal Daycare Center (Fortaleza), Eagles of Christ Ministry – Logos Institute (Fortaleza) and Restore Project (Caucaia).
