It was with this question that the awards ceremony for the 8th edition of the Educational Project began. Studies show that dreams are the fuel of life, as they help maintain high motivation, despite the countless challenges we face. Each human being's dreams reflect the level of evolution of their consciousness. To encourage the realization of dreams through studies, Aço Cearense holds the Educational Project annually.
A total of 10 students from public and private schools were awarded. The 8th edition of the event was attended by principals, administrators, students, and their families. Luiza Gabriela Lisboa, daughter of ACC Communications collaborator Waldirene Lisboa, received an award and praised the project. "This is my first time participating, and I really liked Aço Cearense's initiative, rewarding the highest academic grades. This is motivating for us," she said.
New this year at the awards ceremony was a board game in which students and their parents participated, competing for two bookstore vouchers worth R$1,400.00 each. The game included questions on general knowledge, the environment, geography, and other specific questions about Aço Cearense. Tácito Amorim, a member of the ACC Collections department, enjoyed the experience: "I thought the game was really cool because it reminded me of some things I'd forgotten and, at the same time, helped me learn a little more about Aço Cearense." Tainara Suiane, Tácito's daughter, participated in the project for the third time, finishing second twice, and this year, securing first place.
The Educational Project awards are presented in four categories: 6th-9th grades of elementary school (public and private schools) and 1st-3rd grades of high school (public and private schools). The winners received: a R$1,400.00 bookstore voucher for third place; a tablet for second place; and a laptop for first place. The winners' annual average grades ranged from 8.18 to 10.
