SINOBRAS
Located in Pará, the quality of SINOBRAS steel goes beyond the raw material. It's the result of the commitment and dedication of those who understand that every structure requires strength, safety, and reliability.

Production capacity and products
A producer of long steel, in 2023 it expanded its production capacity to 850 thousand tons/year, starting to produce two new products: Wire Rod and Rebar, in Coil and Spooler formats.

Expansion and investments
With the new substation, SINOBRAS increased its energy capacity from 65 MVA to 100 MVA, connecting to the 230 kV grid. This strengthens the steelmaker's energy base and expands expansion opportunities, ensuring more agile market responses. The company recently completed a General Overhaul of the Blast Furnace (REGAF), completely replacing the refractory, part of the external plating, and the top-end equipment, in addition to modernizing the automation system, ensuring greater efficiency, safety, and operational stability. Continuing with growth investments, Phase 1 of the Wire Drawing Mill expansion is underway, which will more than double wire production—from 400 to 1,000 tons/month—strengthening competitiveness and the ability to meet demand with agility and quality. Future phases will expand production of the Wire Drawing Mill's other products, ensuring greater efficiency and a stronger presence in the industry. Another highlight is the New Steel Mill project, in partnership with Vale, to produce steel billets in Marabá. The goal is to boost the development of a metalworking hub in the region, generating opportunities and attracting new companies.
