Today, we have a production capacity of 1.4 million tons of steel per year, with a complete and diverse product line to meet any customer's needs. People first

Therefore, we develop innovative management strategies, with serious investments in professional development and leadership. This way, we prepare our teams for the continued growth of our industry.

SINOBRAS's performance in the Brazilian steel market

The next company in our group that you should know is SINOBRASHeadquartered in Pará, it is one of the largest long steel producers in northern Brazil. In addition to serving the entire country, it continues to expand and improve the quality of its entire production, always with the goal of facilitating buy of high-standard materials in civil construction.

High production capacity

Your main items in our catalog These include rebar and wire rod, which offer considerable practicality in application and transportation. To fulfill this role, the company has a production capacity of 850 tons of steel per year, ensuring the availability of all products needed for the construction industry in the region.

To meet the energy demands of its production, a new substation was established to serve as the power base for all steelmaking work. This also offers new opportunities for long-term expansion and production optimization.

Sustainable practices of SINOBRAS Florestal in the management of eucalyptus

In Tocantins, we have the SINOBRAS Florestal, which reinforces our commitment to sustainability. It cultivates eucalyptus to be used as a bioreducer in steel production, making SINOBRAS's production self-sufficient and environmentally friendly. More than 48,000 hectares are cultivated, contributing to its production and the reduction of its annual carbon emissions.

Research and genetic improvement of eucalyptus

Eucalyptus cultivation is an essential step in the production of bioreducers used in steelmaking. However, to keep up with market demands, it is necessary to plant and harvest eucalyptus on a large scale, optimizing its development and quality.

For this reason, SINOBRAS Florestal also promotes research related to the genetic modification of eucalyptus trees to ensure their growth is as efficient as possible. This allows for the production of the necessary volume to sustain steel production without expanding the planted area.

Investment in the region's infrastructure

All of SINOBRAS Florestal's investments aim to promote the self-sustainability of its steel production, both from a resource perspective and from an environmental impact perspective. However, this goes far beyond its internal operations.

To achieve this goal, the company collaborates directly with several local entities related to scientific research and infrastructure. These investments bring a clear return to the region, offering more job opportunities in various fields of specialization.

Socio-educational initiatives of the Instituto Aço Cearense

We know well how the steel industry influences the entire population around it. It's an opportunity to create positive change, contributing to education, sports, health, and the social and cultural development of the entire population. For this reason, the Instituto Aço Cearense, with the aim of fulfilling this role and creating a stronger Brazil, transforming lives!

Support for various entities

To promote the social transformation we desire, we work to support various NGOs and organizations that assist people in vulnerable situations. More than just financial support, we seek to offer knowledge and autonomy to these groups, so that their work is more positive and lasting.

With NGOs Generating Falcons and Thinking About It, we work to support the Favela 3D (digital, dignified, and developed) project in the city of Fortaleza. This project aims to bring more public and private investment to these communities. Today, it has over 1,400 donors.

Equity and opportunity creation

Another example of our work is the Ecological Soap Making Project, which taught several vulnerable women how to create eco-friendly soap. Besides reducing the environmental impact of oil disposal, this was a business opportunity for several women seeking additional income. The result was a total of over 3,800 handmade products sold!
