Last Tuesday (1), SINOBRAS, a company of the Aço Cearense Group, received a delegation from the 23rd Jungle Infantry Brigade of Marabá and the 8th Military Region, based in Belém, for the incineration of weapons seized by the Brazilian Army. Around 3 thousand weapons stored in 19 barrels, seized by security agencies of Pará, Maranhão and Tocantins were incinerated in the Steel Mill's Electric Furnace through “Operation Vesuvius”.
The positive relationship between SINOBRAS and the Brazilian Army is part of a partnership built over the company's 14-year history. "SINOBRAS is always open to collaborating with the country. It's an honor to support the Brazilian Army and contribute to the good of society," emphasizes Milton Lima, Industrial Director of Grupo Aço Cearense.
