With the arrival of the pandemic, onboarding new employees also became a challenge for Grupo Aço Cearense's HR department. This is an important time to welcome new employees, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the company, its key benefits, department procedures, and occupational safety standards.
To ensure that employees admitted during the isolation or gradual return period feel welcomed by the company, integration has been carried out remotely, via video call through the Skype and Microsoft Teams platforms.
For Monik Oliveira, new employee at Aço Cearense Comercial: "It was a truly learning experience. We were able to absorb all the knowledge the professionals shared via video call. This method was unique and innovative. I can say it was also dynamic, as there were moments of interaction between the professionals in the departments and those of us who were in the onboarding process."
