In addition to the food donated this month, the Instituto Aço Cearense delivered cleaning kits containing shampoo, bleach, soap, toothpaste, disinfectant, detergent, and laundry detergent, important items for maintaining home hygiene and personal hygiene for families, promoting the prevention of the new coronavirus.
200 cleaning and hygiene kits were delivered by the Instituto Aço Cearense in Marabá (PA) on the last day (30) and another 100 basic food baskets for families in the municipality of São Bento (TO). Also this month, 50 basic food baskets were delivered to AECIPP - Association of Companies of the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex (AECIPP) in Fortaleza, these baskets will be directed to the Primavera community, benefiting 143 needy families.
“In this difficult process we are experiencing, we are very happy to make this donation, both of food, which is essential for needy families, and of cleaning products that many of them cannot afford due to low income and financial losses caused by this pandemic.“, says Luciana Rabelo, Coordinator of the Ceará Steel Institute.
