With shows and events canceled due to social distancing, many artists are performing online and taking the opportunity to raise money for charities and hospitals.
On Saturday (24), during the live broadcast of the duo Simone and Simaria, the Aço Cearense Institute, from the Aço Cearense Group, donated 1 ton of food.
Rosemeire Matos, President of the Ceará Steel Institute and Administrative Director of Ceará Industrial Steel, commented that it's a joy to be able to do this, to take advantage of the livestream to help those most in need. "We donate from the heart and with the positive mindset that this will all pass soon," she said.
In addition to food, the Instituto Aço Cearense delivered 400 cleaning kits in the capital of Ceará and in Caucaia, containing shampoo, bleach, soap, toothpaste, disinfectant, detergent and washing powder, important items for maintaining home hygiene and the personal hygiene of families, promoting the prevention of the new coronavirus.
The Instituto Aço Cearense will deliver another 200 cleaning and hygiene kits in Marabá (PA) and 100 basic food baskets to families in the municipality of São Bento (TO) next week.
