After a decade of existence transforming people's reality, the Instituto Aço Cearense (IAC) completed another cycle this Monday (2). Created in March 2010 to support social initiatives with monitoring and transfer of resources to NGOs, the Institute also carries out projects such as the SESC Ativo Project, the Happy Embrace Campaign, Pedaling for Peace, Instituto Aço Cearense Solidário and Instituto Aço Cearense Social. In addition to sponsoring 3 young athletes in cycling, running and karate.
Rosemeire Matos, President of the Institute and Administrative Director of GAC, commented: "We are very happy to celebrate our 10th anniversary! Seeing the smiles of the people we help inspires us to continue doing good. We will continue to grow this hope of making the world a better place. Thank you so much to everyone who has been part of our story!" she said.
In total, more than 14 million reais were invested in education, culture, sports and entrepreneurship to provide opportunities for inclusion and benefit more than 80,000 people in the 164 institutions supported by the Instituto Aço Cearense in Ceará, Pará and Tocantins.
