On Friday, 10/18, 11 employees, members of the Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém and the Aço Cearense Industrial Produção da Matriz team, gave a theater presentation on Safe Behavior during the Internal Accident Prevention Week (SIPAT) of the Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP), seeking, even with a playful comedic tone, to bring a deep reflection on the importance of accident prevention.
The CSP's invitation came about following the Instituto Aço Brasil's Occupational Safety Meeting, held in April of this year at the ACI, which featured a theater performance by these employees. The Aço Cearense Group, which was specially invited to the event, consists of five actors and six technicians providing artistic support for costumes, art direction, and audiovisual work.
Milton Lima, Industrial Director of [the company], commented on their participation in the event: "I appreciate the contribution and creativity of this theater team in their pursuit of accident reduction. This demonstrates our commitment to our safety policy and tools, extending and sharing the importance of this beyond our company. I congratulate all these employees for their participation, both in solving and implementing safety issues," he concluded.
The play tells the story of Death, who visits CSP to inspect who is complying with safety regulations. However, thanks to the company's well-defined procedures and standards, everyone is saved.
