SAP analysts and representatives from various departments of Aço Cearense Group companies participated in the SAP Competency Center (CCS) Workshop to align members on the methodology that will be used throughout the CCS process. At Aço Cearense, the training took place on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and at SINOBRAS, it took place on the 10th and 11th.
The SAP Competence Center is part of Grupo Aço Cearense's Strategic Planning and aims to manage the development of projects to expand and improve SAP functionality. Among the benefits of implementing the CCS are the centralization of SAP improvement demands and the alignment of improvements with the company's strategy, bringing greater operational efficiency to Grupo Aço Cearense. Post-release systemic errors in the production environment will also be reduced, and the quality of homologation tests for implemented solutions will be improved, not to mention the speed of improvement validation and the increased use of SAP processes across all areas of the Group.
The goal is to have conversations by the end of this year to understand the roles and responsibilities of each group member, as well as monitor a pilot project. A total of 46 employees from Aço Cearense Comercial, Aço Cearense Industrial, SINOBRAS, and SINOBRAS Florestal are part of the SAP Competence Center.
