With posters, messages about violence against women, abusive relationships and a lecture on “What is feminism and what is its role in society”, Grupo Aço Cearense is carrying out a campaign in reference to International Women's Day (March 8), to celebrate the date in a different way, bringing knowledge and supporting such an important cause.
With an industrial audience of 85% male employees, the Group understands the importance of addressing respect for women and women's causes. Therefore, on March 7th, at 4:00 PM, speaker Ana Karina Cavalcante, a feminist and history professor, will speak with Aço Cearense Comercial employees. On March 8th, at 6:30 AM and 2:00 PM, Aço Cearense Industrial will host speaker Raquel Vieira, a feminist and social worker, to discuss women's issues. Both units are located in Fortaleza.
SINOBRAS and SINOBRAS Florestal, group companies in the states of Pará and Tocantins, will also hold similar events on March 8 for their employees, with speakers Tayanná Santos and Elizabeth Costa, respectively.
