Simplifying bureaucracy is the path to growth for Brazil, and for that to happen, we need to decongest it so the country can move forward. Reinforcing this idea, Grupo Aço Cearense is supporting the campaign by Endeavor, an organization that supports entrepreneurs, #descongestionaBrasil, encouraging the acceleration of the country's development and pressuring the country's government to reduce the time it takes to open new businesses.
An Endeavor survey produced a report that identifies four macro-sectors considered bottlenecks in the production sector: business opening, operation, and closure, the tax system, access to capital, and intellectual property, along with corresponding solutions to improve the business environment. Dubbed the High Growth Agenda, the document brings together clear proposals for policymakers to incorporate into their government plans to reduce the bureaucratic obstacles that impede the growth of high-impact entrepreneurs.
The report addresses the issues of simplifying business opening, regularization, and closure processes, approving tax reform that addresses the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, simplifying and ensuring clarity in loan approval criteria at banks and development agencies, and reviewing processes and legislation to expedite the acquisition of intellectual property.
