The Aço Cearense Comercial Soccer Society team competed on Sunday (26) and drew with the Sapataria Nova team from North Shopping. The game is part of the 5th edition of the Commercial Workers' Union Soccer Championship.
The game ended 4-4, securing a spot in the next round of the competition for Aço Cearense Comercial. The goals were scored by Caíque Dantas (1 goal) and João Lucas Ferreira (3 goals), both warehouse workers.
"I thank everyone involved for their support. I also thank the players, who, despite the difficulties and unforeseen circumstances, maintained their determination and achieved a good result that earned us qualification. Now our goal is to win the next game and finish first in the group," said the team's coach, Gutemberg da Silva, from the Maintenance department.
The team's next match is scheduled for the 7th of next month, at Clube dos Comerciários (Avenida Dom Almeida Lustosa, Santa Rita neighborhood in Caucaia), against the Sapataria Nova do Centro team, which is the current champion of the competition.
