On the afternoon of last Friday (11), the Aço Cearense Group held the II Seminar on Safety in Cargo Transportation for logistics companies and students in the field. The action took place in the auditorium of the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará (FIEC).
With the objective of bringing together large companies in the market to exchange information on best practices, with a focus on safety in cargo transportation, the program included lectures by the director of supplies and logistics of Grupo Aço Cearense, Edgard Corrêa; the Logistics Manager of the Diageo Group, Marcos Minieri; the Corporals of the State Highway Police, Saulo Daniel and Afrânio Silva; and the Tax Auditor of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Franklin Rabelo.
According to Edgard Corrêa, the seminar was proposed by Grupo Aço Cearense to promote an exchange of experiences and contribute to other companies in the state. "We saw an opportunity to share our best practices with other companies that also participate in this market segment, and to learn from them," he stated.
