Cyclist from Ceará ends the year in first place in the national ranking

After achieving second place in the Brazilian Paracycling Championship in the Endurance Test and third in the Time Trial, during races held from December 1st to 3rd in Rio de Janeiro, the Ceará Mountain Bike Elite and Marathon champion, Gilberto Silva, a cyclist from Ceará, sponsored by the Instituto Aço Cearense, also achieved first place in the Brazilian Paracycling ranking.

With the points earned throughout the year, Gilberto also achieved second place in the national Elite Mountain Bike rankings. "Reaching the top of the national rankings was a longtime dream, now achieved. From now on, we'll redouble our efforts to reach even higher," emphasized Gilberto Silva, who works for Aço Cearense Comercial.

Happy with a successful year, the cyclist from Ceará is now preparing for the challenges of 2018. His first competition will be the Cerapió Rally, from January 23rd to 27th. After that, he will be fully prepared for the South American Paracycling Championship, which will take place on March 14th and 15th in Rio de Janeiro.
