The 2017 Internal Sales Meeting took place in September, in the Aço Cearense Comercial auditorium. The event was held for around 100 people, including internal salespeople, managers and directors.
The Sales Meeting was a mix of integration and information about the business, related to the day-to-day operations of the Commercial area and was attended by President Vilmar Ferreira, Vice President of Operations, Ian Corrêa, Commercial and Financial Vice President, Aline Ferreira, Commercial Director, Paulo Martins, Sales Managers, Expedito Jovino, Amanda Feijó and Newton Júnior.
With a diverse program lasting 8 hours, the meeting provided sales professionals with information on the steel market, tax updates, stainless steel sales rules, company logistics, and adaptations in the registration, credit, and collections departments to the new market scenario. The topics were presented by speakers Rafael Freitas (Special Markets), Gilberto Andrade and Erik Mendes (Logistics), Ailomar Araújo (Credit and Collections), and Diego Angelim (Tax). The attendees also attended motivational talks given by Vox Líderes.
Paulo Martins said the Sales Meeting was a good opportunity for team building. "Our meeting aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and provide a moment for teamwork for those areas that maintain daily contact. We noticed the economic recovery in Brazil, so we set out to train our salespeople and encourage them for this phase of business growth. The event was very beneficial for everyone who participated, and we will continue to plan other team activities."
