SINOBRAS Florestal
In Tocantins, there is SINOBRAS Florestal, which supplies bioreducer for SINOBRAS' steel production and has its own eucalyptus plantation assets, in an area of approximately 48 thousand hectares and properties distributed in the municipalities of São Bento do Tocantins, Araguatins and Ananás (TO).
Expansion
The company is undergoing an expansion process with the aim of ensuring self-sustainability in its production to meet SINOBRAS' demand. It recently joined forces with SIF (Forest Research Society), which is always seeking innovation and solutions to problems in the forestry sector.
Investments and sustainability
SINOBRAS Florestal is increasingly focused on sustainability and technological development, investing in research into genetic improvement of eucalyptus and corymbia clones, as well as innovative silvicultural management practices, to ensure the best yield of forest assets and optimization of the bioreducer production process. These investments, in addition to placing the company increasingly connected to sustainability and technology, develop the region with employment and training opportunities for current and future employees.
